It is the second race in the RunAbout Race Series and also the second race in our kids' series of events. The Shamrock 4 Miler and Lucky Leprechaun 1K Dash is on March 18th at 9 am. No cost for the series itself, just the race entry fee. It has been a hoodie sweatshirt for the past few years. This is the first race of the 2023 RunAbout Race Series! If you complete eight of the ten events you earn a sweet award. You can register at RunAbout Sports for the 1 Mile Fun Run or on race day at Margaret Beeks Elementary School. The 1 Mile Fun Run presented by Adjust NRV starts at 12:30 pm and is free and kids receive a medal. The 10 Miler and 5K start together at 1 pm. The 38th Blacksburg Classic 10 Miler, 5K, and 1 Mile fun run is this Sunday, February 19th. You can also register on race day at Margaret Beeks Elementary School from 11 -12:50.
